2000년 발표된 라디오헤드의 4집 Kid A의 여섯 번째 트랙.

2. 상세

Kid A에서 유일하게 정치적인 메시지를 전면에 내세운 곡으로, 나오미 클라인의 저서 노 로고에 영향을 받았다. 제목 그대로 낙천적인 태도로 자본 시장의 질서 파괴[1]를 묵인하는 낙천주의자들, 신자유주의자들을 비판하며 다국적기업을 경계하는 내용이다. 발매 당시 Kid A에서 유일하게 기존 록 스타일이 많이 남아있던 음악이라 사실상의 리드 싱글 역할을 하며 인기를 끌었다.

톰 요크는 앨범을 만들 당시 나오미 클라인의 영향을 매우 많이 받았다고 전해진다. 아예 그녀의 저서에서 이름을 따 앨범명을 '노 로고'로 붙이는 것을 잠깐이나마 진지하게 고려했을 정도. ~~바꿔서 다행이다~~
프랭크 오션의 믹스테잎 nostalgia,ULTRA.의 'Bitches Talkin''이라는 곡에서 샘플링되었다. 내용은 라디오헤드의 노래를 틀 때마다 주변에서 질색하며 다른 노래를 틀어달라고 징징대는 내용인데 참으로 라디오헤드 팬 스러운 노래이다(...)[2]

[1] 가사 중 'Big fish eats little one' [2] 흑인 사회에 속하여 지내는 만큼 백인 음악으로 분류되는 락에 대한 주변인들의 막연한 편견을 담은 노래라고도 볼 수 있다.
