2023년 3월 24일에 발매된 라나 델 레이의 아홉 번째 정규 앨범.[1]2. 발매 과정
2021년 10월 22일, 8집 Blue Banisters가 발매되자마자 인스타그램 라이브 방송을 진행했다. '보너스 트랙이 있냐?'라는 질문에 해당 앨범의 보너스 트랙은 없고 다음 앨범을 위한 곡을 썼다고 말했다.2022년 5월 16일, 잭 안토노프의 인터뷰를 통해 그가 라나의 새 앨범에 참여하는 것으로 밝혀졌다.
2022년 8월 8일, 존 바티스트와 함께 찍은 사진을 공개하며 콜라보를 암시했다.
2022년 8월 23일, 'Candy Necklace'의 일부를 인스타그램에 공개했다.
2022년 12월 6일, 'Arcadia' 뮤직비디오 설명란에 9집 앨범 제목과 발매일이 담당자 실수(...)로 인해 공개되었다.
2022년 12월 8일, 첫 싱글인 'Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd'가 공개되었다.
2023년 1월 30일, 홍보용 계정 'oceanblvd'가 생성되었다.[2]
2023년 2월 14일, 앨범명이 공개되었는데 제목이 무려 'Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd Pearl Watch Me on Ring a Bell Psycho Lifeguard'이다. 하지만 곧 너무 길다는 이유로 현재의 앨범명으로 바뀌었다.
2023년 2월 14일, 두 번째 싱글인 'A&W'가 공개되었다. 해당 트랙은 피치포크 Best New Track에 선정되었다. #

발매 후 꽤나 좋은 평가를 받았다. 피치포크에서는 8.3점을 부여하며 NFR 이후 최고 점수를 주면서 베스트 뉴 뮤직으로 평가했고, 메타크리틱에서도 80점으로 데뷔하여 이후 81점을 기록하며 역시 NFR 이후로 최고 점수를 기록했다.
2024 그래미 어워드에서 올해의 앨범과 올해의 노래 부문 포함 5부문이나 노미네이트 되면서 4년만에 다시 후보로 오르게 되었다.[3]
4. 성적
- 첫날 스트리밍 수치는 1800만, 둘째 날 스트리밍 수치는 1500만을 기록했다. 첫 주 초동은 10만~ 11.5만 장 정도로 예측되고 있는데, 이는 3집 Ultraviolence 이후로 높은 판매량이다. 오래간만에 성적과 평론 양쪽에서 좋은 수치를 기록하고 있는 중이다. 결국 최종 12만 장의 첫 주 초동을 기록하며 빌보드 앨범 차트 3위로 데뷔했다.
- 영국에서는 첫 주 4.2만 장의 초동을 기록하며 앨범 차트 1위를 차지했는데 이는 2023년 영국 최고 초동 판매량이다.
- 호주 앨범 차트에서도 1위를 차지했다.
- 발매 2주 차에도 스트리밍 합산 판매량 3.8만 장을 기록하며 TOP10에 머물렀다.
