1967년 싱글로 발매되어 Between the Buttons 앨범의 미국 버전 오프닝 트랙으로 수록되었다. 기타 대신 피아노가 주가 되는 경쾌한 로큰롤 곡으로, 밤을 함께 보내자는 개방적인 내용으로 논란이 되었다.RCA 스튜디오에서 녹음이 이루어졌으며 녹음 도중 경찰관이 스튜디오에 방문하는 소동이 있었다. 빌 와이먼을 제외한 모든 멤버들은 마약을 하고 있었는데 앤드류 올드햄의 운전사가 마약을 숨기면서 체포당하는 일은 벌어지지 않았다. 올드햄은 빠르게 경찰관에게 악기로 사용할 곤봉이 필요하다고 했고, 그 곤봉은 실제로 연주에 들어갔다.
Ruby Tuesday와 함께 1967년 1월 더블A 싱글로 발매되었는데 Ruby Tuesday는 빌보드 핫 100에서 1위까지 올랐지만 이 곡은 55위에 오르는데 그쳤다. 상술했듯이 성관계를 은유하는 노골적인 메세지 때문에 미국의 라디오 방송국에서 송출을 거부했기 때문에 성적이 부진했다.
1967년 1월 15일 롤링 스톤스는 에드 설리반 쇼에서 이 곡을 라이브할 수 없다는 통지를 받았지만 코러스 부분을 '함께 시간을 보내자'(Let's spend some time together)로 바꿔 부른다는 조건으로 라이브를 불렀다. 타협안에 불쾌함을 느꼈던 믹 재거는 눈을 부릅뜨고 이리저리 굴려대며 노래를 불렀다.
1973년 데이비드 보위가 커버해 Aladdin Sane 앨범에 수록하였다.
